I also have this same problem on my MacBook Pro. I have a subscription to sky and it says that it is linked to my sky box. If I try to download/record a show it gives me a few options as to where I can download it- either to my sky Q box in HD or SD or to my laptop. Whatever option I click, it leads me to a square on the screen that says Error: 1504-IH. As a result of this, I'm having to download whatever I'd like to watch on my TV and then I'm able to watch it on my laptop. I have no problem with this on an iPad.
I've looked at all discussions about this on sky community but still have no answer on what to do.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
