Sorry, something went wrong. To watch this content, please upgrade your subscription.

Hello Support,

I have access to Sky Sports on my TV, when trying to watch Sky Sports on Sky Go on my iPhone, I get the following message: "Sorry, something went wrong. To watch this content, please upgrade your subscription."

Please can someone help?

Thanks,

As you are trying to watch sports, do you get the same or similar error message if you install and use the Sky Sports app instead ?

Yeah, I am trying to watch Sports, I get the lock icon when trying to watch on the Sky Sports app.

"Could not play channel. Your subscription doesn't allow you to watch this programme."

Are you logged in with the correct Sky ID so have you ever left Sky in the past and then returned after being away for 12 months or more ?

I've been a customer for 12 years and have always used this Sky iD.

@sharrons

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.

This link explains how this works:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
