Discussion topic: Why do downloads expire after 48 hours.

When you start watching something on Sky Go it expires after 48 hours. Why is that? Its incredibly frustrating. I downloaded multiple episodes of programmes for my child to watch on holiday and the app will pretty much be useless after a couple of days.
