I wondered if anyone has experienced a similar problem to me.
I moved from Sky broadband and talk last year and since then it appears that Sky or NOW cunstomers are unable to call our landline from their landline, they get a message saying that the number is not recognised. This problem does not exist for anyone not with Sky or NOW, they can all call us perfectly well.
Sky advisor said it is not a Sky problem but BT.

Hi, yes I have reported it and they are trying to sort it but asked me to contact Sky.
i have since found out that this is not an uncommon problem and is caused by the number not being correctly ported from Sky.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI doubt Sky will be able to help as you're no longer their customer. If that's the case, those who can't call you should report it to their provider.

And therein lays the problem. They have reported it and are told that we must be blocking number, which we definitely aren't.
We are now trying to find out where the buck stops.
