Re: Sky sports golf coverage.

Same problem with AIG Open. No live coverage of Asian women. Even former champion from Japan currently leading but not covered. Looks like chat between themselves and only cover few Americans and UK players. sucks

Re: Sky sports golf coverage.

A lot depends on who's in the featured groups on days one and two.   The latest that's just teed off includes Lydia Ko (Asian descent) and Nasa Hataoka from Japan, so they should get full coverage.     In the last few minutes seen shots from Inbee Park and Hinako Shibuno, the clubhouse leader.

The next featured group includes Jin Young Ko and Minjee Lee!!!

Re: Sky sports golf coverage.

I am aghast at how bad McKinley and Dougherty. Don't they realise there are other British players besides macilroy!!!

They are the worst commentators I have ever seen on sky goly they failed miserably as pro golfers and now are ruining your program

can you not get David livingstone out of retirement and get real pros commentating .  We used to have jacklii Faldo Lyle actual major winners

Re: Sky sports golf coverage.

Sky Sports Golf commentary is abysmal  When com to the relaxed American commentators . Andrew Coltart seems to want to promote s deep Scottish accent

what's a Buddy ?  And to top it all Dame Davies described  as what is a Flat stic

Sir Nick Faldo Knows his Golf deliver is excellent lus and Rich Bean is  excellence commentary together with Radar
Laura needs to go away and get some Commentary training and   work with the Americans they don't waffle out stuff the layman doesn't understand.

Forgot to mention  Nick Docerty and Bruce   Very positive commentary.

Re: Sky sports golf coverage.

Skys coverage of golf is so old fashioned.LIV golf nearly have the answer to good coverage Place cameras at each hole then allow viewers to switch to each hole on the red button,so if you want to watch a particular match all the way through you can. This solution to the following Tiger etc seems quite simple

Amazing what can be achieved with effectively unlimited oil-state funding when there's no aim of subscription-based financial sustainability, really....

Awful masters coverage

Please don't tell me that I am the only person completely frustrated with the sky masters coverage ???  We want to see golf....not adverts, flowers, and caddies raking bunkers ....  just awful !!!!

Totally agree. And more golfers please whatever their performance is. There are more golfers than Woods. Please can we see the wider field.

Re: Sky sports golf coverage.

Couldn't agree more. The coverage is absolutely shocking.   I know that sky are restricted by NBS and also that the Masters committee limit it even more.  I also get that Tiger is the GOAT but we are missing so much of the other players - im furoiusly shouting at the tv here.   The sly sports commentary team are excellent but they are only doing their best to cover up the limited  golf we get to see.

You're right.  And it's getting worse.   And even worse again at the first Major of the year

Re: Sky sports golf coverage.

Seen nothing of Fitzpatrick on the friday.  Its just Tiger and rory again and again even when they arent the featured groups. As Brits, sky really need to be following the all the Brits more- surely they havent just accepted 4 streams for the entire tournament?

Lack of response by Sky management re Golf coverage and TV broadcasting

Given that subscribers are venting their dismay at the coverage of golf "Worldwide" it is surprising or possibly not, that management of Sky and their on course and in house reporters and analysts are not giving the viewers opinions more air time. If "Ror's were to sneeze in the wrong place it would be mentioned on every scheduled slot. Who knows what coverage TW would get if he had to replace a divot. Can the paying public have more of what we pay for . Actual golf.

Re: Sky sports golf coverage.

We have Brits (big names )  teeing off shortly and sky arent even starting coverage until 7.30pm. Absolutely pathetic effort from Sky. Why bother having a golf channel?
