Broken housing on optical cable output

The small spring loaded 'door' on the optical output on my sky q box is broken and the only way of using the output at the moment is the sellotape the cable into the damaged housing. But the slightest movement stops the sound output. Anyone have solution to repairing this housing or where I can purchase a new housing. Thanks

@DublinB It forms part of the SkyQ box, I'd imagine it would need to be replaced in full.

id give Sky a call, and report it as faulty, see what they say. 👍

Sky owns the hardware - you cannot repair it yourself.

If you call them then they will be able to arrange a replacement - but you will lose your recordings.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

@DublinB that SkyQ definitely need's a little TLC. I'd definitely give Sky a call and report it.
