The small spring loaded 'door' on the optical output on my sky q box is broken and the only way of using the output at the moment is the sellotape the cable into the damaged housing. But the slightest movement stops the sound output. Anyone have solution to repairing this housing or where I can purchase a new housing. Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@DublinB It forms part of the SkyQ box, I'd imagine it would need to be replaced in full.
id give Sky a call, and report it as faulty, see what they say. 👍

Sky owns the hardware - you cannot repair it yourself.
If you call them then they will be able to arrange a replacement - but you will lose your recordings.
