New mobile with interference and text message with temp number still

My phone arrived 4 days ago and the number switched across on the 15th. My new phone is hissing when I send and receive calls and sounds distant. My text messages are still showing as the other number, I have removed sim, cleaned sim and still no improvement

Hi @Alanness  can't help with the hissing but if this is an iPhone go to settings, phone, my number and check the correct number is stored there, if not then update it then exit and reboot your phone.
