It's Christmas and I've now got time to have a look at my recently installed sky q box. But surprise, when I picked an ultra he movie to watch, it didn't look much different from HD ? So checked settings it is set for ultra but 8bit ? It won't work on 10 bit which is required for UHD quality. Checked settings and my box hardware version is 32B064, wait for it, doesn't support 10 bit ? Checked my tv, Sony KD43XE8004 which supports 10 bit. Is this an issue others have experienced? I will contact Sky support when the holiday is over. Very disappointed

The 32B0xx box does support 2060p 10 bit UHD but not HDR. Make sure that the TV input has been set to Enhanced or your Sky Q box will only see 8 bit only.
On a small 43 inch TV it is very unlikely that you a difference between HD and UHD unless you are virtually on top of it. You will not notice any picture improvements viewing UHD SDR pictures in 8 bit or 10 bit. It is only HDR with 10 bit that will you see any difference.
