Time limit for using new sim

Hi, just got a new sim from sky in the post as I'm transfering to sky from Three in the coming weeks. But is there a time limit to make the transfer? My old three account does not expire for 2 - 3 weeks, and I don't want to duplicate costs. I know I only have 28 days to use the PAC code, but is there a time limit to activate the sky sim too?

If there is a deal associated with your sims data plan then it is 30 days, if not around 90 days.
