Emails are going into Archive after what I supposed to be hack

I believed I was hacked 2 days back,, all strange signals told me that. mails I did not write went out to few people, most were rejected by receivers. I have changed the passwordMy 2 step idendification still stays in place, the problem now is that my emails goes into the Archive folder. How do I restore that.

Whoever gained access to your email (did you reply to an email asking you to verify/upgrade your account?) has probably setup a filter to redirect your emails.

Log into your account with a desktop browser and go to Settings - More settings - Filters and remove any you did not set up.

Also check all other settings for changes they may have made.

It might also be worth checking this setting as well:

 

Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes > Your email address > Reply-to address

 

And again remove anything here that you did not setup.
