Upgraded to Sky Q now cant download from catch up

I upgraded to Sky Q but it won't download from catch up, reached 4% after an hour.

Hi @Whitley Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on?

Hi, I reset the router and downloads worked bit today its back to nothing downloading.

Hi @Whitley 

Try a Reset Settings in the main Q box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.

Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.

Resetting the settings will also reset:

Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.

I'm pressing select when the reset settings is highlighted but nothing happens, it doesn't reset

Have you gone correctly into the hidden menu @Whitley 

 

To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.

Did you get any further after the 0 0 1 select @Whitley ?

0 0 1 select is four presses not just 0 0 1

It is not just 0 0 1 you press @Whitley 

With Settings highlighted 

you press 4 buttons on the remote in succession

0 0 1 select.    Select is the central button on the remote

I reset yesterday but today first I had no sound and now the one recording is sticking at 4minutes. I tried to cancel it and re download it but nothing is happening. I am so fed up with struggling with this each night. How do I contact a sky engineer?

After the reset things seemed to work, but then the next day I had no sound until I switched the box on and off, then nothing downloaded, what had downloaded the day before froze at 4 minutes and wouldnt run past that, and nothing had recorded. Back to square one.
