Costs of being an existing customer

Why I have I just been offered the cost of £69 to renew my contract basic tv and broadband, whereas if I was joining today I can get the same and Netflix for £45. What is the incentive to stay loyal to a company?

Because you're not a new customer. It's usual across providers to incentivise new customers. Ypu can, of course, switch to another provider once your current 'contract' expires..
