Broadband activation query

Hi. I'm hoping maybe I get a answer I'm looking for. But by which I'm wanting to know is I have fttp unit in my house I know my broadband doesn't require a engineer but I've received my WiFi console do I have to wait for the activation date or can it be activated sooner as it done remotely within office

You will have to wait, the activation date on your box is the date to go live,

there is nothing stopping you from plugging in the system especially if you currently have

no internet, even though the ONT that exist and even if it has all the green lights until

that unit is registered for use by OR and the SKY team do not expect any Internet connection.

 

Probably not the answer you wished for but it's just the way it is....

@Scousemarkcrewe  The activation date on the router box is the date your service with Sky will start and on the day that can take up to midnight for there to be data flow.
