Eero router and booster

Hi all,

I have Talktalk Broadband and have been given an Eero router. The sky Q mini box is about 10 metres from the main Sky Q box and without the sky booster which the engineer set up for me, the sky mini box won't connect. My issue is, the sky booster box requires to connect via WPS but the Eero router doesn't allow WPS. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way around this.

Thanks

@Bobbysmum

You cant connect a Sky Q mini box directly to a 3rd party router. It must connect to either another Sky Q device, a Sky booster or a Sky Router.

Re: Eero router and booster

Hi @jamesn123, apologies if I never explained my situation correctly, I understand the Sky Mini box set up, I just don't know how to connect the sky booster to an Eero router. The booster connects via WPS but the Eero router doesn't allow WPS. Is there any way around this?

@Bobbysmum you cannot connect a Sky booster to a third party wifi source it is designed to boost the Sky wifi signal for Q minis. Instead you connect the main Q box to your eero system that then connects to the booster and minis using a closed wifi signal.
