Sky VIP Android app issue

So I've had Sky VIP for as long as the TV contract, more than 7 years now.  I recently saw a message on my account to do with them saying an old Sky ID had been found on an inactive account and to delete it.  It turned out that I then didn't have a Sky ID!!  

 

I re-did it, but since then, (I think this may be linked anyway?), my Sky VIP app is missing a load of sections like Unmissable Prizes, Giveaways, Shows and Attractions.

 

I'm not totally sure if this is linked to the Sky ID problem, but I noticed it at the same time.

 

Maybe Sky have changed what's on the app?

 

I've had zero reply on X to this so I thought I'd come here.

Are you signed into the app with your old ID or did you set up a new one which you will have needed to have done if you have been away for 18 months or more.

So the initial problem was me responding to a message when signed in to my account saying a Sky ID had been found linked to an inactive account.  When I unlinked I found I had no Sky ID at all!

 

So I created a "new" one, using the email address I'd used before, and it said I was all set up.  The odd thing is that I have that same message again on my account.

 

I haven't left sky at all.

 

Would all of this affect what I see on my VIP app though??

Not sure what is going on but out aside here that you created a new ID do you know if you have done anything like this in the past for any reason as perhaps it is picking up an old ID you used to have. Aside from that I would suggest calling Sky to see if they can find any old account.

Yeah I have no clue what's going on with it.  I'll give them a call.  The only other product I've had with them was Sky Q before swapping to Glass when it came out.  Not sure if Q utilised Sky ID or not?
