Hi...
Since I downloaded Ventura, the new iOS, I can no longer us the Sky Go app. I'm not sure whether it is related to the new iOS, but the timing seems to indicate it may be.
The app is opening, but not loading at all (there is the side menu, but no content, and the "loading circle" is just constantly turing).
The app still seems to be working on my iMac desktop (which has not had an iOS update).
I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. Strangely there is no longer any reference to the app on the App store - I had to install it from the Sky website.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Can you follow these steps to see if it helps?
Uninstall the app
Launch the Finder, go to the Downloads folder and delete ‘SkyGoInstaller.’
In Finder, go to the Applications folder and delete Sky Go app
Remove Sky Go files
In the Finder select Go to folder ... from the Go menu (or press c).
A dialog box should appear. Now copy and paste the following text into the box and press the return key: ~/Library/Application Support/
Select the Sky Go folder and delete it
Empty Recycling Bin
Reboot the Mac
Download and reinstall Sky Go
EDIT: If your Mac requires it, please install the Rosetta App

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt could well be related to the new OS as I should imagine your post will be the first of a few that will be posted on this. Previously when a new OS is released it takes Sky a little while to update the app to get it working with it so it might be what will happen here.

My SkyGo app on my Mac IOS no longer opens. It starts checking then it simply freezes and all I have is a blue screen with white click (go) button. I have deleted and downloaded newer version with no success.

Can you also confirm the model with anything in brackets for you Macbook Pro if it has any.

Hi @KevNewMedia
This has worked perfectly!! Thank you very much indeed for your help - and also for the clarity of your instructions. Just great.
Best of luck with your reinstallation @HM02CUE and thanks again to @caesarome A note for @HM02CUE ... when reinstalling the Sky Go app, it is not on the App Store (I am not sure whether it ever has been for MacBook... I can't remember). But you can install it from the Sky website by doing a search.
Have a great day everyone! Thanks so much... what a nice community!!

Great news! Enjoy your Sky Go 😀
Going forward, for anyone reading this, can you make sure you install the Apple Rosetta App if your Mac requires it.

Hi @SteveH44
Welcome to Sky Community
I can confirm that the service is compatible Ventura. Can you carry out the steps further up the therad and make sure that you've also installed the Rosetta App if required.
