Sky Go only works on Wi-Fi on iPhone

Sky Go won't stream on my iPhone using mobile data, works fine on Wi-Fi and tethered to iPad. Any suggestions?

Have you got location settings turned on via settings on your iphone as this does need to be turned on when using mobile data.

What is happening when you try to watch something via the app when using mobile data ?

Screen goes black, rotating wheel in the middle eventually disappears, screen stays black

I don't have this issue, but have updated my iPhone since then. At the time I had an iPhone 7+ if that's relevant to you.
