Sky go on iPhone won’t load - on 4G and 5G

Just won't load - click right through to sports channels but none display - just the spinning wheel

Do you have location services turned on within the settings app on your phone, if not turn it on and reboot your phone before trying again to load up the Sky Go app.

Can't get any channels too work on sky go on iPhone 12 mini or iPad mini 5th gen

Yes location services is on the issue just seems to with 5g now

I've got the exact same problem here. Sky subscription channels like Sky Sports will load maybe 1 in 10 times after endless black screen and circle when on 4G or 5G and when I clearly have signal and internet connection. The rest of the time, I get the same error that isn't shown in the troubleshooting in the My Sky app after the black screen and circle for about 2 mins. Have location on, have reinstalled app, rebooted phone etc. No difference. Will load ITV straight away! Annoying, I just want to watch the cricket.

Same. iPhone 13 pro. Good 4g but will not load live Cricket. Strangely though I can use the iPhone as a hotspot and watch it on an iPad???

I have the exact same issue, 

I have installed the app loads of times. Location services are on. I have tried changing to 4G. All the sports channels do not work but everything else is fine. 

i have an iPhone 13 pro. My work phone iPhone 7 has no issues loading the sports channels. Seems to be an issue with the new phones ?

my phone is doing exactly the same won't load on sport channels tried hotspotting to my iPad and does the same.

click any other Channels itv bt sport all work straight away.

driving me mad 

done all of the above deleted app reinstalled location service still no joy please help

Did a solution to this come out?  I have an Iphone12 with exactly the same problem (do everything listed to sort) loads Sky go easily on wifi but as soons as its on data get the error message.
