Windows 11, Sky channels - video corruption

I have Sky Go running on a Windows 11 PC.

When I watch Sky channels in the app, there is an odd red/green overlay that is very visible on dark areas of the picture.

So far as I can tell, the corruption is only present on Sky channels (tested on Sky Sports F1, Sky Atlantic, SkyShowcaseHD) while non-sky channels look normal (tested on ITV1, Gold HD, Dave HD).

See below for a couple of examples

I have a dim recollection that's to do with Windows mistakenly trying to utilise HDR: if this is an option on your PC or monitor you could try switching it off.

I found a post somewhere that suggested HDR might be the cause however HDR doesn't appear to be enabled or supported on my monitor:

Try  Settings > Display > HDR (or just search for “ HDR Settings” in the Windows search bar) and look to see if there's a toggle.

That's exactly where the above screenshot is taken from.
