Ipad

I've got an ipad with a sky sim card but there's no phone bit on the ipad to make calls and won't let me send texts on it

@Levy1  I'm not aware of any such functionality in ipads to make calls, the reason it accepts a sim is for data use when out & about and you're unable to use wifi.

 

All relevant info about ipads are on the apple website https://www.apple.com/uk/ipad/

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

No, iPads aren't designed to make & receive calls or texts. The SIM is used for internet access while away from Wi-Fi.
