My house phone won't work with sky Q what one should I get

Hi. My house phone stopped working when I got sky Q. I bought another one and that wouldn't work. Can anyone suggest what type of cordless phone I should get

I'm not sure why having a Sky Q box would mean your landline phone wouldn't work. Do you mean Sky broadband?

Your landline phone is not influenced by you having Sky Q. Did you change your Sky Broadband set up at the same time?

• No i don't mean the broadband band as we already had sky internet before we got the sky Q. Don't know why it just won't work and engineer said we had to get a specific phone

@Wendy602 any standard phone will work fine with Sky Talk (your lamdlime service). Is your phone plugged into the wall socket, or is it plugged into your broadband Hub? Is there a dial tone?

It was plugged into the wall socket.  I just picked it up after sky Q was put in and it wouldn't t work. I bought a new phone to check and that wouldn't work either

If there's no dial tone, try the simple connection  test here, even if your broadband is ok. Let us know how you get on.
