Recently upgraded to sky q. It sometimes disconnects from broadband so I have to reconnect and re enter my password My question - is there a quick way to do this so I don't have to keep scrolling up and down? The sky engineer said there was but didn't show me.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePresumably they meant using the WPS buttons on the router and the main Q box.

The other way is to use powerline adaptors (or better still Ethernet) between the box and router as neither need passwords.

It is just a quicker way of actually putting in the password, like pressing and holding the button on remote to move to lower case and numbers. As soon as I press the A then that is what appears 😡

If your Q box is close to your internet router, I would just plug in an Ethernet cable. No hassle of putting in passwords and should be a solid connection.

Unfortunately the router is in the hall. Where would I get an Ethernet cable?
