Unable to access Sky account & email

This is in relation to my dad's account

He's stopped receiving emails on his Kindle Fire for his Sky account - with the exception of M&S ones

If you try to log in to Sky email via a browser then it says invalid password

Password reset doesn't work as there's no alternative email set up & the answer to the security question is rejected

I've just spent 15 minutes talking to the Sky help desk before they decided that the email has been migrated to Yahoo so it's not Sky's problem

What's the best way to get this fixed?

Well it certainly hasn't been migrated to Yahoo, so that's nonsense. There hasn't been any migration of email accounts since the service was moved from gmail many years ago.

If he can't reset his password online via the forgotten password link here, Sky should be able to reset it for him.

https://www.sky.com/signin

I would recommend that when he (or you if you have the authority to speak to Sky on his behalf) calls, that you make no mention of his email account. Advisers' understanding of Sky Yahoo Mail seems pretty patchy. Just say he can't log in via the above login screen.

Does his email account end in @Sky.com or @yahoo.com (co.uk)?

@hkymre

If you are able to call Sky for him just mention he can't access his Sky account as mentioning email could see they give you more incorrect nonsense as answers.

Re: Unable to access Sky account & email

I spoke to another agent this morning.

He apologised for the incorrect info given yesterday & reset the security question

The password is now changed & emails are flowing
