Yesterday I needed to register my mobile phone on a chinese website - a portal that is required for registration to graduate in China. When entering my mobile number, it then attempted to send me an SMS with a passcode. Despite trying multiple times, I never received the code as an SMS. Is there a block on the sky mobile SIM that prevents Chinese numbers being sent to me? This is an urgent and important issue to resolve.

You will need to call sky on 150 from her phone and ask them to check your account settings and to see if there is an issue with the organisation that's sending the code.
