The only credible solution for this is to leave Sky mobile. Download an O2 e SIM for example when in Spain

Hey, what was the resolution for this @Kirsty+S27 ? Your post was marked as the answer but it didn't actually answer anything? I had these same problems abroad recently so clearly there was no solution from SKY?

I agree that the only resolution is to leave Sky Mobile. I switched to another network provider last week and my wife will do the same when her contract ends.
Going abroad again later this year and can't afford to be without mobile and data again.

I'm in Fuerteventura now, and having this problem. It's now May 2024. How is this still not fixed?! I really regret leaving 3 for Sky. I'm afraid my phone is going to burn out! The refreshing sim data message is every 10 seconds and it's burning my battery!

Try setting for just 2g then just 3g rather than letting it choose as I suspect the 4g network is the problem. This sorted mine out.

Hi I left Sky because when I got home from hols I still had no texts etc. I managed to get them to let me leave without a penalty so I was happy to just go and so were they tbh. They didn't even argue for me to stay which means they have no idea what the problems are. Now with Lebara - and no problems at all although I had to get Apple to resolve a problem with iMessage. All working now and I will never darken Sky doors again, in any capacity.

Husband is in Naples and can't get signal despite having the roaming passport activated. Interested to see so many other posts saying similar in Europe.
