Sky Passport Plus

I am currently on holiday and have activated my Sky Passport Plus for £2 a day, however mu data doesn't appear to be working. Do I need to turn my data roaming on? 

I was worried to turn this on and it charge me extra?

We are in Spain/Ibiza. 

We have had the messages to say our Passports are activated and we are paying for the £2 a day... just not sure if to switch data roaming on to use my data?

Roaming does need to be turned on. But you should note that there are ongoing issues with data use in Spain so if it doesn't work there is nothing you can do as Sky are still investigating as there have been a number of reports on here about it.

I have just arrived in Spain and can't connect to the network. I forget to set up a voicemail pin before I left the UK. How do I get round this now I am already here??

There is an ongoing fault with Sky Mobiles in Spain of which Sky are aware of and are still investigating so if it isn't working then there is nothing you can do to get it to work,

Hi @RAD2PLAY  in addition to the information provided by @caesarome  if you haven't set up your voicemail pin before travelling then you can't now, you will need to do it on your return for future travels.

Im in spain and data roaming isnt working. Spend cap lifted. Been through every troubleshooter, help

My phone is trying to refresh sim data regularly but all I get is emergency calls only.

I did after 3 hours in the country say that my data roaming was working and of course getting charged £2 per day, but now its stopped completely for the last 24 hours

Can anyone help please?

There is a known issue when using Sky mobiles/sims in Spain that Sky are aware of but as yet there is no known fix so I'm afraid there is nothing you can do.

Looks like a change of network provide is required then. How frustrating

Roaming not working in Spain

Hello,

 

I arrived in Spain and did not get a welcome message.  My phone is not working and I have exhausted all of the sky online help.  I can't ring because my phone isn't working.

 

I would be really grateful if anyone could suggest anything please?

Hi @Emma+Doolan  there have been many reports of issues in Spain over the last few months. Sky are aware and looking into it but no solution yet.
