Black screen

We have been having problems for a while with the TV screen going black whilst watching either a live broadcast or recorded program. This morning watching Olympics screen goes black and missed who won.

I did post this before on a thread dated June or July 2021, no relevant help from there as ours is on wifi and it has only started happening since January, used to go balck twice then ok - now goes black once and then ok??

Hi @Kev53  Try changing the video output from the SKYQ box from 1080p to 1080i?

If there is no change Try rebooting your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot.

Hi, screen is set at 2160p, changed to 1080i, see how it goes.

Thanks to Quoman7 my black screen is no longer a problem, changed output to 1080i, since then no black screen. 🙂
