Is there still a credit check if somebody decides to pay by debit card

I would just like to know wether a credit check is still carried out if I want to pay with my debit card

@Nagwa1  Yes a credit check will still take place unless you are purchasing outright in one go because sky are ensuring you can repay the credit agreement

Credit check for what?  

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

The actual payment method doesn't come into it, so that you want to pay via a debit card isn't what is important as the checks are carried out to check that you have the ability to make the payments each month.

Thanks, this really helped but do you know the requirements for Sky's credit check in order to get a contract? As my concern for making payments on time is low do you think that I will get rejected or accepted?

@Nagwa1 This is the second thread you've made asking about the criteria for credit checks, no one here knows the only way to find out is to apply, making more threads won't change that.
